Sarah
Vice President for Wellbeing
Hi everyone,
I'm Sarah (she/her), I'm 22 and from Carlow. I studied psychology here in DCU for the last 4 years which is how I became so interested in Wellbeing. Unfortunately covid hit halfway during my degree, but since then I got very involved in different Clubs and Societies in DCU, as well as being Club Life Committee Chair and being involved in the SU by helping them run the consent workshops in my final year.
My main goal as VP Wellbeing this year is to make DCU a place where everyone is comfortable talking and learning about mental, physical and sexual health and to make sure that students are fully supported by both the SU and the university. I look forward to being your VP Wellbeing this year, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions at all or even if you just want to chat!.

Hi everyone!
I’m Sam and my pronouns are she/they. I studied music and english for my undergrad and then went on to study a masters in creative writing here at DCU. I am now your current VP for Diversity Inclusion for the 2023/34 academic year. Diversity and Inclusion has always played a prominent role in my student life. I was the co-chair of the neurodivergent society for two years and played an active role in engaging with the Autism friendly unit on campus. I have experience working with charities such as Dyspraxia/ DCD Ireland, As I Am and Spunout.ie.
Ever since my time at DCU began, I have never wanted a student to feel marginalised regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, religion, culture, age or status as a student. I will work hard this year to help all students to feel like they have a voice and are included. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any ideas or questions!
