Facilities & Events Crew
Our Facilities & Events Crew are crucial in ensuring we continue to deliver successful and engaging events and activities. This crew will help maintain our U building and ensure our facilities are in top-notch condition. You'll help with general maintenance, event admin, registration and attendee management, cloakroom work etc. This work can be any time of the day. In some cases, successful candidates may progress to a structured part-time role. No experience necessary.
Sound & Light Technician
The Sound & Light Technicians will contribute in a professional manner to the smooth and efficient running of our events in the Venue primarily. You must have a background in sound or light and understand the operation of equipment. You'll be on hand to provide tech support during our events and ensure we're complying with all health and safety regulations.
Photographer & Videographer
This is exactly what it says on the tin! If you're passionate about photography and videography or maybe only one over another, consider joining our team and capture photos and videos that really showcase student life
Graphic Designer
To deliver high-quality design work within our brand guidelines for a variety of OSL projects. The designs that you create will be used across a range of digital and printed channels, including email, posters, social media, and our website. A key focus for the Graphic Designer Intern will be producing collateral for large campaigns like Freshers Week, Clubs & Socs Awards, Lead DCUSU and more. You'll ideally have experience with design software e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (don't worry - we'll cover the cost of the package!)
Research Assistant
Help us highlight potential research and engagement projects from time-to-time, ensuring they are relevant and will further develop our understanding of students' experience at DCU. You'll help us develop and conduct research and/or engagement project(s) including the development of research briefs/event plans; any resources required to complete the project and a final report and presentation. No experience is necessary but an interest in research.
