A big hello from your 2021/2022 Students’ Union!
Terence - President
I feel really lucky to be starting in the office in DCUSU. Becoming President was something I had dreamt of during my time in DCU so it feels very surreal to be sitting here now. I'm so excited to bring students back to campus in September, reigniting the community of DCU and meeting all of the new students, in the safest way possible. It's going to be a very unique and exciting year for all of us, with many of us visiting campus for the first time in over a year, and many others for the first time ever! Although it is still uncertain what the next academic year will look like, we will ensure that we provide the best student experience for you all and ensure your voice is heard

Kate - VP for Academic Life
Hi everyone!
I am Kate, your newly elected VP for Academic Life; I am almost two months into the job and loving every minute of it. I'm most excited to see the majority of you back on campus over the coming year and to help you in any way I can.
In particular, you can contact me with any academic, intra/placement, Erasmus or Class Rep question, concern or idea for the union. If you ever need me, my email is kate@dcusu.ie

Ross - VP for Community and Citizenship
Dia dhaoibh! To say I was excited to start this role was an understatement, especially the support we all got from the previous exec including my closest predecessor Dylan Mangan. As a new role, it has taken a bit of time to work out how to get into it, but with each passing day, I’m getting more used to introducing myself as the VP for Community and Citizenship, and then being able to fully explain it for people who don’t know what it means!
I’m really looking forward to seeing people back on campus, as I think every single one of us is! For my role, in particular, I am looking forward to engaging with students like yourself and empowering them to get involved in the DCU community and local community and provide some opportunities for students to create change for themselves and what they feel passionate about and the tools to do that.
Otherwise, if you have any questions or issues about accommodation, volunteering, and anything engagement or politically related, do get in contact with me at ross@dcusu.ie. Hope to see all of you, especially first and second-year students, finally on campus soon!

Bobbie - VP Diversity and Inclusion
Hello! My name is Bobbie Hickey and I am your new Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion. I am truly so grateful for the opportunity to be able to lead DCU towards a more diverse and inclusive future. My hope is that the University will embrace its diverse student and staff population, and be proud of all of our nationalities across the campuses. I also hope that I can set out the road map for DCU to become 100% inclusive in the years to come.
I am really looking forward to getting stuck into working on campus; from setting up sign language classes, completing an accessibility audit, and arranging coffee mornings, there is so much I am buzzing to get started on!
I am also really looking forward to getting to know you, our driving force - the students of DCU. See you soon!

Dean - VP for Wellbeing
Hello everyone!
Dean here, your newly elected VP for Wellbeing. You may know my face from last year as your VP Welfare & Equality. If you don't, well, here's another chance to get to know me and for me to help you, too! I'm excited to see how the VP Wellbeing role develops and particularly, I'm interested in ensuring we have the correct supports in place for your mental, physical, and sexual health.
That means working with the University to retain the positive elements of online learning, running consent training for incoming first-years, setting up our period product delivery service, working with DCU Sport on gym trials and beginner classes, and so much more.
Do remember, if you have any questions on mental, physical, sexual health, or finance, shoot me an email: dean@dcusu.ie.
