If you are interested in taking part in the DCU Astro Leagues, Men's & Mixed Recreational Soccer for Semester 1, please complete the DCU Astro Leagues Registration Form below!
This form is to register for the DCU Astro Leagues that take place on the DCU Glasnevin Campus.
We will have both Men's and a Mixed Astro League.
Teams competing in the Mixed Astro League will play at 5pm and must have a squad comprising of at least 3 Female players with at least one of these players on the pitch at all times.
Men's Divisions are organised by time slots, so there will be a 1pm League, 2pm League, 3pm League, 4pm League and 5pm League.
ALL Teams must register and pay the team entry fee by Monday the 4th of October 2021.

DCU Astro leagues are run by the DCU Sports & Wellbeing and the DCU Soccer Club, and are supported by DCU Sport and the DCUSU.
Astro Leagues Rules & Guidelines
1. All games will be 20 minutes a half.
2. Normal rules of Football apply, with the following exceptions:
a) Defending players must stand a minimum of three yards away from all free kicks
b) No Slide tackling.
c) Substitutions are roll on roll off
3. Points Win 3, Draw 1, Lose 0. Head to head result to separate teams if level on points in final league table standings.
4. Any team failing to turn up will forfeit their match. The team 'winning' by forfeit will receive 3 points and be awarded 5 goals 'For,' 0 goals 'Against'.
5. Teams may register 8 players. There is no limit on the number of substitutes that can be brought on from the 8 players. 'Rolling subs' will apply - as long as five players are kept on the 'field' players can go on and off as you wish.
6. Teams should arrive 5 minutes before their match is due to start.
7. It is the teams’ responsibility to check their e-mails regularly for start times and dates and any changes to these will be sent by e-mail.
8. The captain of each team needs to sign off on the result with the DCU Active Ambassador/Co-ordinator at the end of each match.
